About the Department

The Department of Nephrology at Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial (LLRM) Medical College, Meerut is committed to providing comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of kidney diseases. The department offers specialized care for patients suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), and other renal disorders using modern diagnostic and therapeutic facilities. Along with patient care, the department actively contributes to medical education, training, and community awareness programs.

The Department of Nephrology provides the following specialized services:

• Hemodialysis facility for patients suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).
• Six fully functional Hemodialysis machines.
• Dialysis services for patients covered under Ayushman Bharat and other eligible government healthcare schemes.
• Renal Biopsy procedures for diagnosis of kidney diseases.
• Permacath insertion for long-term dialysis access.
• Comprehensive nephrology consultation and follow-up services.
• Emergency and routine dialysis care.
