Teaching of UGs – Common Lecture theatres, Tutorial Rooms, Experimental Lab, Pharmacy Lab and  Clinical Pharmacology lab where lectures, tutorials, demonstrations and teaching on patients are undertaken with AV aids.

Teaching of PGs –  facility for departmental and central library,

-         Departmental and Central Research labs with facilities for screening of –analgesic, anti inflammatory, antipyretic, antiepileptic and hepatoprotective drugs and various biochemical and histo-pathological examinations.

-         behavioural lab for experiments for psychopharmacology on animals.

-         Clinical Pharmacology lab.

-         Seminars are taken with the help of AV aid

-         Facility of well equipped central animal house from where animals can be procured for research purposes.

  • NAC-NET site for PPS survey regarding antimicrobial consumption and to monitor antimicrobial trends by NCDC in collaboration with WHO.
  • Prescription audit in associated SVBP Hospital, to promote rational drug therapy.
  • Associated Central Animal house is licensed for commercial breeding and is supplying experimental animals to various research institutions.
  • ADR’s being reported under Pharmacovigilance Program of India.

Special Achievements, Research & Awards:

  • Poster Presentation by MBBS Students on ADR Reporting organized on 21st September 2024 as part of National Pharmacovigilance Week.
  • CME on “ADR Reporting and Causality Assessment Criteria” under theme of “Building ADR Culture for Patient Safety” as part of  National Pharmacovigilance Week on 21/09/2024.
  • As part of Pharmacovigilance week (17-23 September), awareness drive was conducted in the OPD of SVBP Hospital block under the slogan “Your Safety, One Click Away: Report to PvPI” in 2025.
